LUz Bernal, Administrative Assistant
Luz Bernal joined the Law Offices of Bobby P. Luna in 2016 as our administrative assistant. Luz is a tremendous asset to our team. She is energetic, enthusiastic and upbeat, even on the most chaotic days. Luz is reliable, flexible and an all-around team player and outstanding employee.
Luz’ experience in customer service is a tremendous benefit to our firm and our clients. Her fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset as well.
On a more personal note, Luz is continuing her education with a goal of obtaining a degree in Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, blogging her various food experiences, and taking short trips to explore places she has never been.
Mackenna Davis, Office Manager
Mackenna Davis joined the Law Offices of Bobby P. Luna in 2013 as a file clerk. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to the position of Human Resources Manager and Collections Supervisor. Since 2015, she has been responsible for assisting in all phases of the legal practice, including pre-trial preparation, document management, client communications and bookkeeping. She now serves as office manager for our law firm. She is responsible for all office procedures, and uses her organizational skills to ensure
smooth operations in a busy work environment.
Office management is the backbone of every law firm and Ms. Davis manages her
tasks with grace and tact. When clients walk into the office she is always one of the first smiling faces they see and will always make them feel like they are right at home.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento No. 1032 to improve the quality of life for the special needs of children in the Sacramento region.
She is expecting her first child this summer.
Shawna Snyder, Paralegal
Shawna Snyder joined the Law Offices of Bobby P. Luna in 2016 as a senior
paralegal. She provides the attorneys in the firm with solid and reliable
assistance and serves as a listening ear to clients. In addition to family law, Ms. Snyder also has experience in probate, criminal law, and personal injury.
Family law clients are often faced with a variety of emotional situations. Ms.
Snyder strives to present a calm, helpful and supportive demeanor as she
handles their immediate needs, and patiently explains legal terms and
procedures. While clients experience open and frequent communication with the attorneys in the office, Ms. Snyder is also available as a liaison between the clients and the firm.
Ms. Snyder has nearly 20 years of experience in the legal field, starting out as
a legal assistant and ultimately leading to her current position as senior paralegal. This longevity has provided her with exposure to many areas of law, and she feels strongly that it is important to continually increase her knowledge, not only in the legal field, but also in other areas that will enhance her ability to serve clients.
On a more personal note, Ms. Snyder is a proud mom of five beautiful children ranging in age from 8 to 30, as well as a delighted grandma of five grandchildren. In her free time, Ms. Snyder loves cooking, watching football, and taking trips to the ocean, but mostly enjoys spending time with her family.
