Jessica Hernandez, Junior Associate
Jessica Hernandez graduated Cum Laude from California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. While at Sacramento State, she participated in the Justice Epstein Sacramento Court Judicial Internship Program where she gained valuable knowledge about the inner workings of the Sacramento Courts.
Ms. Hernandez went on to attend Western State College of Law in Irvine, CA where she obtained her Juris Doctor. In addition to dedicating time to her studies, Ms. Hernandez was an active participant in various legal organizations throughout Orange County and at a national level. Specifically, Ms. Hernandez served as the president of the Latino Student Bar Association and the Family Law Society at Western State College of Law. She served as the Pacific Regional Director for The National Latino Law Student Association.
Ms. Hernandez is passionate about helping the indigent community. While in law school, Ms. Hernandez participated in the Western State Immigration clinic. Through this clinical
experience, she was able to represent clients in immigration
matters ranging from obtaining legal permanent residency to defensive asylum.
While in law school, Ms. Hernandez served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sherri Honer at the Lamoreaux Justice Center, working specifically on family law matters. She gained experience in Family Law when she worked for law offices in the Orange County area. Through that experience, Ms. Hernandez gained experience in both collaborative and adversarial family law.
In her spare time, Ms. Hernandez enjoys spending quality time with her family, fiancé, and dogs Oliver and Harlow.
